BUTTERFLY & HUMMINGBIRD
GARDEN KITS- You’ll be amazed by our display of plants and flowers all proven to attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Each kit offers a selection of plants designed specifically to attract butterflies and/or hummingbirds to your garden. Come visit our spectacular butterfly garden to learn about the differences between host and nectar plants, and why butterflies require both. Tour the many beautiful and informative butterfly lifecycle displays in the Naturium and take in one of our FREE butterfly & hummingbird garden seminars. In September, the Naturium hosts Butterfly Days® each weekend when we release Monarchs on their winter migration to Mexico. For more information visit http://www.naturium.ca/.
CONTAINERS
AND PLANTERS- Greenway Blooming Centre offers a unique selection of beautiful ceramic containers and patio pots that will dress up your deck or entranceway, year after year. We even have a Custom Planter service to help design the look you’re after. Just choose a container from our interesting assortment, or bring in your own planter, and select your favourite plants. We’ll custom-design and professionally plant it for you.
ANNUALS -
Add instant colour to your sunny or shady garden throughout the season. Our vast plant selection includes favourites, such as impatiens, petunias, dahlias, snapdragons, nasturtiums, begonias, and geraniums. Come back often to see what unique and exotic European plants we’re introducing.
ROSES - What garden is complete without a rose or two? Choose from our extensive selection of winter-hardy English roses, David Austins, Explorer, Floribunda, Grandiflora, Tea roses, Rugosa roses, climbing roses, rose shrubs and more.
HERBS- Start a ‘kitchen' garden with parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme. We also have basil, chives, oregano, and many others, all available in 4-inch pots. Alternatively, we carry a variety of different size herb planters.
VEGETABLE
PLANTS- Our vegetable plants are all ‘started' from vigorous seeds, selected to give you an incomparable taste sensation. We offer many varieties of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, cabbages, onions, and leeks. Our “six-packs” offer six different varieties of vegetables in one convenient package. They’re perfect for the smaller garden, or just to experiment.
PERENNIALS -
Visit our new perennial display area and choose from our large selection of common and unusual perennials, including hostas, ornamental grasses, daylilies, hellebores, phlox, iris, peonies, lupines, astilbes and dozens of different types of ground covers. Our “Perennial Princess Pat” is on hand to answer all of your questions and to provide advice on what plants might work best in your specific garden areas. Challenge her with your difficult questions.
WATER
GARDENS- You will find both winter-hardy and tropical water plants in our nursery to satisfy fish, frog, bird and gardener. Water garden plants include lilies, hyacinths, lotus and a variety of grasses.
FRUIT - It’s easier than you think to grow strawberries, raspberries, currants, gooseberries, grapes, rhubarb, and more. There’s nothing better than going out to your garden to pick fresh fruit. Plant some today for fruit next year.
COTTAGE PLANTS AND PLANTERS-
Come in and choose your plants and planters for the cottage. You can even order your favourites just by calling and taking advantage of our “Green to You” home delivery service. We’d love to help you design a theme for your cottage garden, and can offer you advice on the sometimes difficult gardening conditions found at cottages.

GARDENS -
From modest to massive, our hanging baskets are the pride of Greenway Blooming Centre. Planters of every size and shape are carefully designed with colour and harmony in front of mind. Flower bags contain annuals for either sunny or shady locations. Patio planters - a special group of plants with a longer cultivation time, unique sizes and incredible ‘flower power’ - include hibiscus, bougainvillea, oleander, datura, and more.
